Unironically agree with this rant that gender criticals relying on biology and materialism cannot hold against troon ideology. But this is a problem with materialism in general, and I think you can still say that there are good and healthy things we can do to our body and bad and unhealthy things we can do to it, and that societies have an obligation to favor good policies over bad. Body integrity would be the framework, not body autonomy. Body integrity means that health care should be focused on maintaining health bodies as systems that work together, not mix and matching parts.

But in general you eventually need metaphysics to say that it is good that we have men and women and that their differences are rad and deserve to be preserved. And a consistent set of ethics to say how human beings are meant to function (an idea of "normal"). It's true that you can't necessarily get there by pointing to biological differences alone. You need to answer the question of why it matters. Even troon ideology has a hard time answering this beyond "because I want to be X and don't want to be told no." A holistic frame would say that humans function better and are happier and healthier when they are distinct as individuals and as a sexually dimorphic species.

I'm guessing that the reason there's no data on actual an heroes among sexual minorities is you can't tell someone is gay just by looking at them, and after they die it's harder to ask them. Sure, you can ask friends and family, but what about the loners? Or the Does? Or the ones who aren't out? Sure a variety of butt sex toys and a pride flag next to the body is pretty good circumstantial evidence, but it's not proof. The flag might belong to a friend. The toys might be for kinky hetero sex. There may be rules about going through a dead person's affects to find information like that on them.

Nerds like hard data and it's hard to get opinions and so forth from a corpse.

Trannies are easier to judge. The ones undergoing transition anyway. Blood work can show hormone levels, moobs, amholes, frankendongs.

Non-binariesare in the same boat as a homo. You an hero as a Doe? Your death cert is gonna have your birth sex on it.

Which brings up this, what sex do trannies death certs use? I don't mean the Does, I mean someone like Tony up there who has had the surgeries, changed his name, changed his "birth certificate", the whole mess. If he were die tomorrow (no trannies this is not a death wish, I wish him absolutely zero harm, it's just a thought experiment) what would his death certificate say?

Opinions are fine, but if anyone actually knows that's better yet. I know we joke that "your parents are going to bury you under your deadname ", but I do wonder how the legal stuff (lawfag, remember?) works out in reality.

I can’t imagine that there have been no attempts to get this sort of data, and it would be relatively easy to get the right data on sexuality/gender and suicide if you tried. There’s plenty of public health research on LGBT people all over the place and there has been for decades. It’s not an uncharted field.

My suspicions are more cynical: I think the CDC is saying “we don’t have any exact data on suicides” because they tried to collect the data, but the data did not tell them what they wanted to hear.

They weasel out of admitting this on information sites designed for the general public, like the one I linked to, by saying “well the data is unclear, but we do have evidence of suicide attempts” and then hope that people don’t notice that there is zero actual data to back up the ideology they’re pushing.

That is cynical, but I can't say you're wrong to think like that. The government doesn't exactly have a great track record of being capable of giving us information presented without an agenda. Which is not how government entities for non-partisan things, like Healthcare, are supposed to behave IMO.

How do you think that say, HIV rates among different at-risk groups are monitored? People just throwing up their hands and saying “arrrgh we don’t know if HIV is spreading more among people having heterosexual or homosexual sex in this demographic in 2022, the death certificates tell us NOTHING”

Public health data is generally pretty good, by the way, and it’s a very useful area of study in general. But it’s subject to ideological forces just like everything else, and it is frustrating that trust in institutions is being undermined for the sake of pushing the “troon suicide” narrative (and gender shit in general).

Who cares? They are fucking trannies and the law dictates your death certificate is done under your legal name, and if the tranny dies they inform next of kin of the passing so them can do the arrangements.

It's just a ticket. If you challenge it you'd appear in court, most people will just pay them. (Or ignore them.)

As a registered sex offender this kind of thing can be a violation of their terms though so fighting it would be the appropriate thing to do in any case. SEX OFFENDER CHALLENGES DISORDERLY CONDUCT TICKET isn't a Pulitzer winning headline though. (Story's phrasing makes it sound like they brought the story to the news themselves.)

I have known exactly ONE natal woman who got this ass-mad at a man turning her down for sex and she was NPD as hell. This is pure male behavior. Most well-socialized men have learned to deal with that pang of disappointment with some class unlike this freak here.

This would absolutely be against any public school’s policies and if discovered (likely) would probably result in some sort of disciplinary action against said teacher (though it’s CA so possibly not much outside of a talking-to unfortunately).

I have recently worked in public education; no matter your position in a school district there are strict rules for employee conduct, especially regarding student interaction. And they will tell you those rules every year if not more often, and you are required to sign off on documentation saying you understand said rules and agree to follow them and if you don’t you will be subject to disciplinary action (though termination of employment is much more difficult for a school district to do, even when the employee should rightly be fired on the spot. In my state there was a list of specific felonies that were pretty much the only grounds for immigrate termination). That being said, some examples I’ve seen are: Discussing mental health concerns with a student as a classroom teacher is a huge no-no, as is setting up a private social media account/chat for students. Mental health concerns get documented and reported to the student’s counselor or the school social worker. A teacher may set up a social media account for a class, club, or sport, but it must be public. Any communication between teachers and students (written or digital, and including 1:1 messages) must be professional and can be accessed by administration at any time for any reason. School staff may not give out personal phone numbers, email addresses, or social media accounts to students until 3-5 years after a student has graduated from high school (at least in the districts I have worked in). Teachers are generally not allowed to talk about sex and sexuality outside of the district-written curriculum, which is accessible to not only parents but the general public. The TLDR of this is that an art teacher should be referring that student to the counselor and definitely not set up a private discord, and if not should be facing disciplinary action.

In smaller schools and districts I've noticed this policy is much more loose and the schools I've been observing are encouraging teachers, against other older school policies, to solicit personal info from students. There will be one staff meeting just about daily boring policies which reinforce professionalism as you've described, and then there will be the big district-sponsored inservice day where they bring in some Berkeley freaks to lead PD that basically goes against school policy. Lawsuits are coming someday.

I tried meshing the two ideas together to see what my mind could create, and I think that biology is only relevant when it directly affects trans-men (in this case). However, we're supposed to also see these clearly female indicators as also applying to men (as it's hateful to think of trans-men as women). I think it's a "have your cake and eat it too" situation, where they want trans-men to be given the same care as normal women without having to acknowledge their being female. They want to preserve the false identity they've made for themselves, but want the care that women are given. Quite selfish, but I guess preserving one's fragile sense of self is more important than recognizing the elephant in the room.
