The best part of this is Ralph will be seething about his victory being taken away from him.
Well then we know the answer, he was indeed picked up by the SBU and denied access to the internet. All they did was give him a stern talking to it seems.
You'd think they'd just ship his ass out of the country if they weren't going to kill him, I mean why keep him in the city? It's not like he's some huge propagandist that is going to have an effect on the war.

Idk the SBU has wasted people during this, I'm surprised they didn't kill him but maybe it's just because they didn't want to fuck with a westerner.
Crazy. Something is way fishy with all of this.
I agree, he did seem pretty frazzled on the video, I mean I guess anyone would be after being detained by an intelligence agency but I mean frazzled in the way that you would be if someone was pointing a gun at your head offscreen. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they had agents had his place watching and told him you say anything political again, we're killing you.

literally the only reason lol

Coach's "golden passport" really saved his ass

Also SBU forbids him from leaving Kharkiv; trying to get him killed in crossfire lol:
"we can't technically kill you ourselves, but we still want you to die"

He at least looks pretty healthy. It's somewhat mysterious that he wouldn't say anything about what happened though. Hinting to some kind of secrecy. Most likely he have been told to not talk about "certain things" and if not that they have some very friendly Azov guys that would like a word with him.

I might be wrong, but we will probably see a very muted Gonzalo Lira going forward. 7 days with the Secret police of Ukraine will maybe have altered his perspective on things. According to him they specifically told him to stay where he was. So he is probably being investigated for something. He might be in some sort of house arrest and too afraid of going anywhere or saying anything. And that may be more valuable for them then deporting him given how much attention he have gotten the last week. But that is just speculation I don't know.
