Silence on the house saga. Hmmmm.

Med people, how successful is IVF for noncompliant histrionic sedentary obese FOLX?

Unfortunately, fatties do tend to have success with fertility treatments.

Would a doctor seriously ok weed and alcohol before another IVF cycle?

I mean I could see a HCP suggesting they can relax a bit meaning maybe a glass of wine every now and again and one or two "bad" meals. But sounds like she learned nothing from the first run.

The whole “sushi is bad” thing is bullshit. You can have most sushi as long as it’s not high in mercury. Women in Japan eat raw fish during pregnancy and have no issues. It’s American fear mongering.

So many moms I know who have done the IVF gamut end up hugely depressed and hating life with kid(s). The routine of the IVF becomes its own sort of holding pattern, especially if you have to do a lot of rounds before it takes. And then when it finally works you're subjected to 9 months of invasive medical shit and you're constantly worried you'll lose the pregnancy and have to start over again, and when the kid arrives it's often highly celebrated on social media while the mom privately cries to her friends that it's so different than she thought it would be.

People who do IVF should need to do some baby care first. It's awful to see people grappling with "this thing that shits itself is what we paid $75,000 for?!" because they never really understood the 24/7 nature of parenting and were trying to just "take the next step" they were expected by family and friends to take, regardless of the cost and difficulty.

IVF kids are also somewhat more likely to have a range of health issues, though people are really reluctant to discuss this. Kids, start in your 20s so you can have a much better chance of making your children from an evening of love and romance, not in a Petri dish after jerking off in a beige room at a fertility doctor's office. Plenty of people in their 30s conceive naturally, but your odds just get worse and worse as time continues its march.

Plenty of women in their 20s have fertility issues. It’s not as easy as “just start early.” Perfectly thin and healthy women need help getting pregnant sometimes. And I’d rather people get into a position where they can financially support a kid and have stable careers than encourage 22 year olds with no money or job prospects to procreate simple because “well, IVF has risks.”

If you don’t want a kid in your 30s, cool. But for those who do and are qualified to, then let them be. This is a thread about Basic Becky and her failure to not be a pile of shit. It’s not about your thoughts on people with infertility.

No, what Becky desires is a robot - a device she can p[lay with when bored, to show off online, then put away and out of sight once the novelty wears off. None of that pesky crying, or needing to be fed or have its diapers changed. Can easily be programmed to like and dislike the exact same things and parrot her opinions. Having independent thoughts? THAT'S LITERAL MURDER!
Or she wants a Reborn doll.

But she wants a girl! God forbid she has a boy, that’s a lifelong ticket for nonstop bitching and victimhood she gets to use against the unfortunate demon spawn for daring to be the wrong gender (the irony).
it's more, one day he picks up a pink toy instead of a blue, and Yonah declares this is proof that she has a trans toddler who is the reincarnation of her miscarried child, and if you disagree you're literally fuckjng invalidating her beliefs. you know she wants to pull that card in contentious twitter arguments.

Lol

Yeah it was The Hair. Not the trip to Disney World you booked hours after begging for money for your doctor bills.

We must be at that point where the unchecked mania starts eating away at the brain because this is even more unhinged than usual.
‘I don’t deserve Biopsies because Hair?’
Not much of an archivist are you Yonah, because Farmer Delicious here pulled out the receipts quicker than you can spell lithium.
You can’t rewrite your history Rebecca and that’s really what grinds your gears.

Hell, even though Becky gets her hair professionally coloured every two weeks at least, which is in fact an incredibly stupid luxury for someone with a history of begging, we also know that she's claimed several times that her mother pays for it. Something she's oddly not mentioning in trying to make her point. Same as how she's not mentioning that they weren't even cancer biopsies, or pre-cancer biopsies, but the equivalent of pre-pre-cancer biopsies. Which she then acted as if she'd just had a massive cancer scare as well as organising the massive trip to Disney World on the back of crying poor about the medical procedures.

But no - Becky has hair so she deserves cancer. That's exactly what everyone meant and is not in any way a reducio ad absurdum. Well, at least she's right that there's people who think she deserves cancer - just not because she 'has hair', but because she 'is a miserable, lying trashbag'.

I'm just not sure cancer deserves her.

There’s a glorious new cow named David Anthony Stebbins, and in his OP it quotes a psych report basically saying:
He expects everyone to adjust their behavior to him because he refuses to make any effort to change and blamed others for his problems.
He was diagnosed with Cluster B Personality Disorder, among other things.
Sound familiar?
No child should be forced to endure her as a mother.

Becky is setting the stage for more e-begging, by doing a preemptive strike against those that will tell her that if she can afford a $2 million house, IVF treatments, and trips to see Cirque Du Soleil in Canada then she's shouldn't be rattling a tin cup.
The mystery to me is, why beg at all? Her lifestyle is absurdly luxurious. Not only does she never have to go without, but she takes luxuries for granted that are well beyond the incomes of normal people. What could she need more money for, when the amount she gets from begging must be paltry compared to the rest? Is it just a greed thing, or an attention thing?

Última edición:
It's not the money that's important to Becky, it's the validation she feels from people giving her the money.
Precisely. If Becky wanted to have a bacon and lobster pizza with a weed infused crust sent to her doorstep within an hour by jet, she certainly can afford it (and is probably ordering one as we speak)

The issue here is validation. It's obvious that Becky was raised to believe that a person's value is measured by the stuff they get, so people buying her things gives her that dopamine hit she craves. It must make her dusty old puss tingle when randos on Twitter buys into her easily debunked narrative of OMG I WILL STARVE TO DEATH RIGHT NOW IF SOMEONE DOESN'T BUY ME A BACON CHEESEBURGER. It's not so much the money/free stuff as much as it is knowing that she can lie so blatantly about her economic situation and sucker a bunch of morons into fulfilling her every whim.

Wrong. Nippers love to trick gaijin like this.
Its the parasites, not mercury.
I live here, my dude. Ladies are just advised to stay away from tuna and swordfish. Lots of pregnant ladies at kaitenzushi joints munching on salmon, various white fishes, octopus, shrimp etc. The oily sushi fish — like aji and saba — are also highly recommended because they have lots of good vitamins.

Maybe American fish is just stanky. But here, it's totally normal.

I've only heard they're supposed to limit intake of tuna, not eliminate it entirely, and avoid canned albacore (white) tuna. I believe different kinds of tuna have different mercury levels. Probably nobody at all should eat swordfish, but it's delicious.

It’s mostly hyper-vigilance - technically cured meats (not heat cooked) are supposed to be avoided too.

Hyper-vigilance or not, there are a lot of things you're not "supposed" to do while pregnant. Eating deli meat, smoking, alcohol, most prescription meds, and even dying your hair is a no-no. But Becky is already planning to have a disabled baby, so why would she care about any of this?
