Part of it is because they're in denial about being gay. They're SOOO not gay that even though they're acting like a woman, they still want poon!
The other part is that they know any guy they ask will drop the "Trans women are women" act and either straight-up tell them "I'm only into biological females. Sorry." or, despite the guys best efforts to just politely decline, he will be visibly repulsed/disgusted and start avoiding the Troon at all costs.

There’s barely any lesbian romance novels at all because the audience is small and understandably not interested in the hetero dynamic, which every single romance novel is based around even if the characters are gay, much less anything at all about troons, ye gods.

Don't want to be an incel? Just transition! Problem solved! No one owes you anything, these women that rejected you didn't owe you anything. Courtney Milan (some trash romance author) then waded in claiming the dinosaur emojis are trans because she's the one who requested them added to the set and her word is god or something (there's literally nothing in her application mentioning trans, she just wanted ass pats like the pick me she is), so the TRAs started using them in response.

I'm not even kidding. These guys are deluded and obsessive. Their paraphilia took over their lives. I've seen more than a few "im such a cute girl uwu" types starting to question their "transness" once they get meds and/or move to a living situation where they aren't perma-online.
