Yes. The USA didn’t sign the Statute of Rome and therefore don’t fall under the Court’s jurisdiction (another reason why it’s useless). They meddle with it a lot now that it exists, but with Russia and China they used to be its greatest critics during its creation (the original draft gave more power to the UNSC but the bloc who wanted a more independent court won).
 
Russia is seemingly silently mobilizing some of its active troops to try and replace the loses its suffered, which at this point are likely high enough that it's starting to compromise their ability to mount an effective offensive on some of the fronts. It will take at the very least several days for these troops in Georgia to arrive in Ukraine and get the organization necessary to be a part of the offensive.

As for WWI, its actually a bit complicated than that. But its mainly the result of British propaganda (very excellent play by play, mind you) and Germany's unrestricted submarine warfare making US anxious. Then the Zimmerman thing happened...

IIRC, the wealthy and politicial elite wanted to go to war in both cases but didn't have popular support for a declaration. That's where the conspiracy theories come in.

Well yeah, we're not a party to the ICC (neither is Russia for that matter) and so they hold no jurisdiction over us.

So some foreign entity rounding up our troops for any reason is itself viewed as an act of aggression to be met with force.

Mexican War, US Civil War, Spanish-American War? WWI was a sideshow for us. The Allies would not have won WWII without the US and the Pacific Theater was the US defeating Japan basically single-handed. Cope more.

Okay, there's number 2 in the final shot. Okay, so to play battlefield forensics:

Explosion #1 is probably either an old direct-fire rocket or an IED, a mine would have gone off towards the front of the tank. The crew comes to a stop, probably trying to figure out what just happened, when they take a rocket to the other side of the tank, blowing the track. The slight turret rotation is likely the crew fumbling around in a stupor after having what the Chieftan calls a "significant emotional event". They realize they're stuck in a kill zone and try to back out, but just run out the track and get stuck. Explosion #3 is likely either an NLAW or potentially a Javelin, punching a hole in the turret. It looks like the gun breech was open, judging by the smoke trickle out the barrel, possibly meaning that they were attempting to load the gun and return fire. This shot possibly also killed or injured the commander, because we only see the gunner and driver start bailing. The smoke pouring out of the gunner's hatch may also indicate a fire inside the tank. For explosion #4, I'm suspecting a cook-off in the ready rack, though another follow-up is possible. The gunner gets flung from the turret and splats on the other side of the road, where the driver runs past on his way to cover. Explosion #5 was probably an RPG aiming at the driver, who survives and starts low-crawling his way along the sloped side of the road. Explosion #6 occurs off-screen, knocking out another tank. We get a glimpse of it in the last seconds of the video, and I suspect that it was riding with the hatches open, because in addition to the body falling out of the sky, there is what may be another closer to the tank in the last clip.
