Not as simple or as petty as that. Bisexual is an easy thing to claim when it's trendy. You get to berate and bully other people from within the alphabet minority. This is also the label that confused and closeted people use while they're figuring things out, so it's normal to have doubts when someone claims they're bi. Also bis have no real persecution. If homosexuality is outlawed they just lose half their dating pool / default to heterosexual.
Or ... and stay with me now ... when homosexuals say "same sex," we mean it. Gay men didn't want women before they started having mutilations to look like men, so why they hell would we want them after.

Granted I mean more of actual bisexuals, not people claiming to be. I personally think queer is better since it generally means "not straight" and I think people claiming to be bi whether closeted or not do more harm than good. And bi-erasure is more on "oh, you're just confused, just say you're gay/straight!, etc." not "trans people denied bathrooms, hate crime!". I.E. demeaning it like what @Spiritually Sodomized outlined above your post.

I mostly agree with you so I'm not meaning to nitpick, but currently queer means anything and therefore nothing. What it meant before that was a slur for homosexuals. What it meant before that was strange or uncanny. Heterosexuals calling themselves queer, a slur for homosexuals, while they ridicule homosexuals for not being open to trannies is just unbelievably absurd.
I remember this shit being vogue in high school 15ish years ago. One clown even quantified his bisexuality that he was only 10% gay.
This is why I think, even though it was a joke, the “superstraight” and “supergay” thing seemed to really resonate with some people: For some reason, it can be weirdly difficult to get people to understand the concept of being into only one group, exclusively.
This is because the problem will naturally solve itself once we get rid of faggots. Men are trendsetters, women are followers. Men are the ones who will first change the standard and make it no longer acceptable to be gay. Once that is done, women will fall in line without need for any further arguing or hassling. Faggots are also much more destructive than lesbians because men are naturally more violent, predatory and extreme in their behaviors. Not that lesbians aren't also destructive (they have impressive rates of domestic violence iirc), but in terms of who is really pushing the envelope and destroying the social fabric, it's always men.
Not like straight men is the most violent of them all.
They're right. Not necessarily secretly gay, but the most likely vector to get STD's.
It's not that hard to get a threesome. Also not that worthwhile.
