It's kind of weird that it may be more socially stigmatized to be a gay male than to be trans or a guy who likes trannies. I do find it weird how some guys will be attracted to trannies or feminine guys, but they get all freaked out by any gay/bi labelling of it, because to them: not masculine = female. All the mental gymnastics to deny the existence of biology.

I think the trans crowd has more overall social stigma still, but understand your point.

I always considered them to be pseudobisexual if they are just attracted to trans women when attempting to present as women. They like the dick because it's exotic on a female apperance and really don't care about the person behind it. It's kinda like the pseudobisexuality of AGP trans in general, where the dick of another man is part of their emasculation fetish.

It's gay behavior and enough closeted men hide behind troons because lunacy, I guess, but I think some of them really are fetishest who's fetish bends their sexuality towards an idea.

these guys would crumble immediately if they were exposed to the realities of living as a woman in a patriarchal society. That their horrifying selfies looking like a serial killer who eats women’s skin get called beautiful is just another example of this. They aren’t treated like women, they’re treated like the dangerous unstable men that they are. They genuinely have no idea what women’s lives are like.

"Genderqueer: A Memoir" reminds me of something we read in college as part of an English course. It was a graphic novel about a woman's home-life when she was young, with a major part of it involving her father and his relationships with his underage male students. There was even a reproduction of one of the pictures, which depicted a young man of about seventeen. The art-style and focus on sexual themes make me wonder just how prevalent this kind of "story" is.

Sounds like Fun Home, an autobiographical graphic novel by lesbian cartoonist Allison Bechdel. Its about her growing up in rural PA in a funeral home with her brothers and closeted gay father who was also a high school english teacher. Its an incredibly heartfelt amd depressing story that got a broadway musical adaptation. Dont judge the quality of a tale just because it has pictures lol.

Late on this one, but here is CopsHateMoe's newest YT video - a fair, unbiased look into Transmedicalism.

Naturally, like any borderline histrionic, she begins the video by going on a soliloquy about herself, where she resorts to oversharing that she is still severely depressed and living in her mom's shed, but, actually, she is not living in her mom's shed anymore because there was a beetle in there and it caused her anxiety so she is actually living in her brother's room now.

The silver lining is that she did perform in a queer comedy show (i.e., she just stood on stage) and she got through to the final. You may be wondering at this point: what does any of this have to do with the history of transmedicalism? This is an excellent question. She is acutely aware that you have it.

Well, Moe is aware that many people that speak about transgenderism on the internet don't actually know much about transgenderism, and that many trans speakers actually have conservative opinions about the whole topic (e.g., Kevin Gibes, Jonathan Yaniv, etc.). Naturally, someone who does not have the same opinion as Moe doesn't have the same opinion because they don't know what they're talking about, because if they did know what they're talking about, then they would have the same opinion as Moe. Y'know: If A then B B ; therefore A. Luckily Moe's acute observations allow her to educate us.

It’s funny because a main point of reviews and photos of clothing from online shops is because women’s clothing sizes are so inconsistent. so when shopping online for clothes its super helpful to see photos of women of various shapes and sizes showing how it fits and sharing their measurements and what size they bought.

men shoving their brutish shoulders into these dresses and posing for compliments adds no value to the conversation about the clothing. The pictures don’t help anyone.

i think I’ve mentioned this in this thread before but it bears repeating that the customer review images for bras and nightgowns on Amazon are a real freakshow. men as far as the eye can see.

There was an old guy who would post selfies of his weathered mug in paint jobs so bad a limbless Amish child could do better, to a chorus of "YASSS SWEETIE" from sycophant handmaidens. It's called Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic, written by Alison Bechdel. It was a less-than-interesting read, but I do remember certain aspects of it—namely how much of it revolved around sex and Bechdel's cold home-life. But to reiterate, I did read this as part of an English course during my Junior year. I brought it up because that other graphic novel reminded me of it, unfortunately.

This has been my complaint for the last couple of years with Amazon. Once upon a time, it was rare to spot the occasional cross dresser leaving a clothing review. And to their credit, they actually did state upfront they were a cross dresser and would give their review for other cross dressers looking to purchase clothes..And at least the photos weren't really sexual back in those days.

But now? Oh my god. The troons are everywhere. Some of them don't even mention they're trans and try to pass themselves off as real women, as if the big bulky shoulders didn't give it away. And of course the troon photos are almost always really sexual and perverted. Example, I was looking for leggings. Lo and behold, in the reviews, a troon with a boner. My bad, I meant "girl bulge".

I remember seeing him in a communal office-space reserved for the less accredited teachers, so I don't think he was official. I'd have to think his curriculum would have been different (if not better), if he was one of the older men with his own office.

From my understanding, the results on whether or not “gender-affirming” care is effective seems to be mixed. Additionally, numerous studies have small sample size, bias, or terrible methodology. How far are they willing to go? If they aren’t already, will the Biden administration advocate for making gender reassignment surgery accessible to children? Then we will have children who experience the permanent medical difficulties that many adults who had the surgery face? Don’t puberty blockers and HRT negatively affect brain development, bone development, etc?

Here's one from the University of Leeds, by Professor Hamilton Carroll. He lectures on American literature and for one module, "American Crisis", he cites it as a primary text alongside Herman Melville's The Confidence Man and Edith Wharton's Summer. Alison Bechdel is a well regarded author even if her medium of graphic novels seems less literary than 19th century novels. You get the same thing with Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, which you may well find getting studied alongside Zola in French literature modules.
