I was told just a day ago that I'm not welcome to run Cha'alt or anything else at Misty Mountain Games (my "friendly" local game store), and that they don't even want Cha'alt on their shelves because it, and myself, apparently, aren't "family friendly" and "inclusive" enough for their establishment.

In this segment Darrick tries to pretend he got banned again. I noticed the wording by the way; he wasn't banned at all. The owner just hard core rejected selling the books or letting him run. I completely agree by the way on not allowing Darrick to run Cha'alt at all in the store. Any bumbo can look at this idiot's blog and note that he doesn't fade to black. Darrick might be fine with having his 5 year old daughter overhearing a clown demon raping the female PC to death, but normal people sure as fuck don't.

As for the book? There's such a thing as limited stock space; and a game I can't show off readily to customers due to it usually being 18+ makes me less likely to stock it. That's on Darrick; he stupidly made his newest book purely adult when he inserted After Dark into it due to being where he kept his disgusting fetish list. It's the same reason Alpha Blue or Black Tokyo won't ever be on a shelf in public eyes outside of cons with adult partitions. Well that and I know that there'd not be a big wealth of fans, since they likely already have copies.

Hell, I bet he's likely either making up the "inclusive" part to make himself look better to his peers, to make the place look worse than it really is. Either that or he threw a royal fit over his ego getting impugned and hoping for a ban to further hunt for victimhood like the "leftoids" he allegedly hates.

I made a video about it yesterday. Several comments pointed out the obvious hypocrisy. If a game store is going to carry Warhammer, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire, and Lamentations of the Flame Princess, (and years ago the Book of Erotic Fantasy and Book of Vile Darkness) then to single Cha'alt out strikes me as blatantly political.

Warhammer is a minis game where you focus on having your boys stomp the shit out of the other guys; it's all about the grimdarkness of war. The old school Daemonette art is pretty risque as were their models, but they can be casually sanitized when kids are afoot; just use your newer models.

Call of Cthulhu only gets as vivid as the DM wants it to be, and the games usually save that for the grisly end of the PCs. It's perfectly family friendly barring that, so just have a basic filter.

Vampire is also sanitizeable for play in a LGS, just don't emphasizes how sexual and orgasmic feeding is for both the victim and the predator and think about what insane shit can be brought on in the LGS. Using the ghouls as manservants and aides? Fine. Using your vitae to fuck and kill hookers? Probably not.

As for Lamentations; I did basic bitch skimming since I never touched it barring the Carcosa splat. Sure, some of the splats have terrible names that would guarantee that book not showing (Vaginas are magic come to mind). But the core book's just fine.

Vile Darkness not only gives you a warning that some terrible things are in it, but it's shielded by the skull. It also likely wasn't open and ready to be picked at in public. Erotic Fantasy almost certainly wasn't on the shelves either (likely in the catalogues or in the back if the store had copies), and Darrick is likely lying his stoned ass off.

It's almost like the big difference that barring one of the books he listed; the main books that the store would have either has none at all, or just a small amount of blatant sewer goblin fetish bullshit. All of them can be perfectly played in groups with children, so long as the players aren't coombrained stoners without a filter. IE Darrick.

Have some fucking awareness of your surroundings. I'd also not want the coomer books out on the floor on, and I don't think Cha'alt is popular enough to warrant being a "behind the counter" item.

I get where you're coming from wrt cancel culture and all that, but it's their business and their prerogative. I think the real issue here is that Dick Dishrag is outrage farming behind some shit that happened over a year and a half ago. While I find it hard to believe that he didn't know, it is entirely possible. If you watch the video, he doesn't really seem to know what they carry, and claims not to have been in the store in a couple of years. Which brings me to my next couple of points.

First off, what has Darrick done for this store lately, that they're even gonna give a shit what he thinks? He's obviously not shopping there, and I'd also bet that this is the first time he's mentioned the store in any way, despite his attempt at having a social media presence. This store tries to promote local creators. Hell, they even had a release party/event for one of his shitty books back in 2019. How does he repay them? By not shopping there for a couple of years, and then deciding to talk shit about them on social media when they wouldn't do even more for him, despite his obvious lack of gratitude for the last time they did it. What an entitled dick. I guess Wanker expects handouts from everyone, not just his wife.

Second, why hasn't he been there in a couple of years? Mask mandates? Or is he afraid of Covid? Fuck, man, I've (powerlevel) got a family member in treatment for late stage Cancer, and another who's paralyzed and breathes with the aid of a machine. Plus a toddler. I'm being careful as fuck, and I get to a gaming store two or three times a month.

Third, one of the big claims made by Cthulhuboy and his butt buddies is that "wokies" don't spend money on games. This just doesn't seem to be the case. In fact, if anything, the massively successful Kickstarters/sales of woke companies puts the lie to it. Hell, Ascendant, considered to be a very successful KS by a non-woke company, pulled in 32k. Compare that to "woke" indie Tuesday Knight Games' Mothership KS, which raised 1.4 million. Meanwhile, slimer struggles to achieve a 15k KS goal, with the last 1500 or so "mysterious;y" appearing at the last moments, probably from his wife's pocketbook. And, by his own admission, he hasn't been frequenting any of his FLGS, even though he's fortunate enough to live in an area that has a handful.

Lastly, the response to this announcement was met overwhelmingly with praise. I mean, say what you want about the owner's politics, but banning Dick's products hasn't seemed to hurt his bottom line, or his reputation. And neither has Dick not shopping there. What would you do as the business owner? You know, they say you can vote with your wallet. Well, you can also abstain with your wallet. Cha'alt-Chan did everything possible to make sure that his voice, opinion and even existence at that store was totally insignificant. And now he acts surprised and butt blasted that he doesn't matter to them? Talk about clueless. Even for a pothead, this dude is slow on the uptake. I know a lot of people hate the Zweihander guy, but you know what? He patronizes and promotes the SHIT out of his local game store. Wanker should be taking notes, not offense.

It is probably just for COVID and he probably vaccinated at least his three daughters when they were babies (not sure about his twin sons) because that was before his conservative grift, but then I realized something...

Brie is turning 11 this month. That means she is due for her HPV vaccine. A lot of schools are requiring kids to get their HPV vaccine when they are 10-11ish, will Darrick vaccinate Brie or will he be like "That's for sluts" or "It doesn't protect again ALL HPV strains" like a lot of anti-vaxxers say when they don't want their daughters vaccinated for HPV.

It is also a good thing he is sending them to a private Catholic school since a lot of public schools are requiring kids be up to date with their shots including the COVID vaccine with little room for exceptions else they have to wear a mask or do remote learning. I know in my state, I think HPV is a required vaccine now.
