Started the stream more than 10 minutes late for absolutely no reason.

Now, I'm not exaggerating, he mentioned how he "needs money" almost 6 times in less than 10 minutes.

Edit: 7:21 pm his time, and is still stalling.
Now he went to the bathroom.

I don't think he's super interested in super thanks. He knows he'll get like 1 donation per 100 videos.

The problem is this is the mega game release season and he was expecting people to be throwing their money at him by now, his member goal to be reached, and twice as many viewers per stream and that isn't happening.

That’s one thing where I always get a little Mati, when he sits there smugly making fun of someone who miss typed something and pretending he doesn’t know what it means. (Maybe send another tip with an explanation snort)
But phil is a bully and as he is neither strong nor smart he has to be the hyaena of bullies, making fun of things already dead, like Kevin burnsteins intellect.

This is actually a cope that was first created for God of War in 2018, which saw low tips. I believe one or two regulars told Phil they couldn't watch because they didn't want to spoil it, and Phil did what he usually does when the money slowed down: He extrapolated this to be 'a lotta peepul' and used it as his cope for why he wasn't getting money for spamming ax throw over and over.

Now we're in a similarly-styled, AAA release and he is immediately dusting that cope off again.
Of course, at the time, $70 in tips would have been quite successful...

So it's happened with 2 mainline sony releases? I don't know Phil it sure does sound like you should give up on Sony stuff and maybe shill the Ouya. I hear its making a comeback.

Yeah, honestly the fact that he's emphasizing how 'unbelievably slow' the day stream was just shows how much the vest steak and subsequent whaling has fucked with his perception of how much his time is worth.

Like the dude received $76 in tips and $56 in super chats to play a fucking video game for a few hours.

I've read some cringy shit on the farms but this is up there with the best of it.
 
All the bluriness is now Youtube's fault. Phil is putting YT 'through the ringer' with this game's graphics. The videos looked fine when he watched them back, and it looked fine when Kat watched the stream on mobile earlier (I wonder if she was stressed with the lack of tips, too?). The On Demand Videos are 'not bad', but sometimes blurry. Youtube is trying to be a Jack of All Trades, and is sacrificing quality in order to do that. This seems to be referring to it being viewable on PC and via a mobile app?

He's still using this to beg for a better setup, saying that will somehow fix it (even if it is a YT problem...?), but he really can't do anything right now because he can't 'upgrade his setup on the fly'.
A strange case where the copium is directly conflicting with the begging, but fuck it, Phil will just do both anyway.

Also, just a side note as he dips into generic 'I need money' begging - he doesn't. At all. His YT payment comes on Monday and he has no bills due over the weekend, nor is he going out. Why does he need $600 over 3 days in that situation? Who can say. Not even Phil, apparently.

BrickBoy and FanofLovecraft (the mod) have also turned up together this evening for the first time in a while. What a strange coincidence.

EDIT: Just for posterity for those interested in looking at such things...
Phil received a 100€ superchat from Nathan Smith.
He acknowledged he got a huge superchat (not specifying the amount), before then stalling in menus for over 5 minutes.
He then proceeded to read out two $2 superchats from Turbo Pascal, responding to the messages with them while still not acknowledging the large superchat.
When called out, Phil told chat to relax, that he knew the superchat was there, and he was going to acknowledge it properly when he has a chance.
After fucking with menus for another minute, Phil shouted out the large superchat, and immediately said it really helps because superchats have been low recently, but he wasn't going to say anything when he was trying to get people to focus on 'other things' (ie. tips).

Nothing about this is an appropriate way to handle receiving contributions.

EDIT 2: Phil subsequently paused in the middle of a dialogue scene to acknowledge and add a $2 superchat. But menus are more important than 100€.

Didn't he say during the afternoon stream that youtube is better in almost every way compared to Twitch. And the only aspects that are better on Twitch are "appetizers" and not the "main course". And now a major aspect of streaming, stream quality, is awful on youtube. I guess the experience of the viewers don't matter much to him.

But I would like him to give reasons why youtube is better than twitch. 1. No gifted subs 2. Worse user interface 3. Emotes don't carry over 4. Less moderation tools 5. Youtube keeps 30% of superchats. It's just another cope of his but it's always funny to hear him flip flop whenever it's convenient
