💬 Off-Topic Louis Theroux's Forbidden America

Thats the point. You don't need to add fluff to push your narrative. Let people talk.

Hell, his episode on actual nazis is less dramatic.

Actual nazis aren't funny because they aren't pretending to be ironic. They're honest about being racist and they don't feel the need to put on any pretences about it. You could probably go for dinner at one of their houses and have a perfectly nice time.

The america first rightoids are all completely insufferable people with massive insecurities and a desperate need for validation.

Can anyone give me the summary of Venti's presence in this stuff? I'm not up to date on the deep lore about any of this characters, but I think Venti recently got married. She should know that getting your name in some msm documentary next to Baked Alaska and Nick Fuentes is very bad news.

Brittany is so fucking cute, is she still single? If so, why?
She looks like a fucking rat wearing a pushup bra, get help and have some standards. This can't be the pinnacle of what the Huwite race finds beautiful, can it?
- Literally every single person Louis talked to almost managed to defend themselves, and would have if they stopped talking at a certain point. For instance, Louis asked one person if they believed in white supremacy. Their response was "no," gave a good defense, then messed it up by saying "but..." and talking about white genocide.
That's the appeal of All Gas No Brakes/Channel 5 style interview shows. You just let the idiots talk themselves into a corner with very, very little guidance or redirection.

The thread is 9 pages long, I explained her involvement twice. Go and read you lazy nigger

the current media climate is extremely hostile to like half the country and all of these retards are people who are desperate for attention and validation. i live in a deeply conservative area where you frequently see people driving trucks around with american flags and where thin blue line bumper stickers are on one out of every dozen cars (and a gun manufacturer sticker on every other car), and it is no shit a daily occurence that i overhear people complaining about censorship on facebook or in the media or whatever, and usually they say something like 'i just dont use it anymore' or 'i started watching old movies' or something that indicates that they are willfully separating themselves from the circus

broadly speaking, the people who four, five years ago were engaged in the media circus that were giving these retards attention have all literally unplugged from it (by force or otherwise) and it means that these grifters have had to resort to increasingly extreme viewpoints to maintain the level of attention they desire, and the gatekeepers of that media circus are more than pleased that they are acting as the perfect scapegoat for their agenda. none of them are actually willing to make any real concrete statements about it because they have no belief system and don't want to actually alienate any potential viewership, they just say shit that gets twitteristas and washington post articles to clutch their pearls

Don't forget the punisher skulls and yellow plates.

Nick's guru, Andrew Anglin, came out with an article about this:

When Nick said that he was allowing Theroux to attend AFPAC 2 and to do a bunch of other filming for a BBC hit piece, I was, like most other people, pretty skeptical. It did not seem like a good idea. Nick is now saying “see – you should have trusted the plan, this documentary is awesome.”

And I mean – apparently he was right. I don’t really know what else to say. Apparently, he understood that he was bulletproof, and that any hit piece would only function as a promotional piece...

After noting how good the documentary makes the movement look, the second thing you notice is that Nick isn’t hardly even in it. Theroux seems to have become obsessed with Beardson Beardly, and basically made him the star of the film.

I don’t know if this was purposeful or just a result of Beardson really upsetting Theroux personally. Theroux went to his house in Kentucky, and he was talking to him in his front yard, and after a bit of friendly chit-chat, Theroux starts asking him why he did a Nazi salute out of a car after AFPAC. Beardson said he never did that. And Theroux kept pressing him, until Beardson told him to leave, effectively having not gotten any interview at all.

I have to say – this was really amateur hour in terms of basic interview technique. What you’re supposed to do in any interview – especially when you’re trying to make a person admit to something or otherwise make them look bad – is form a rapport with them, then spring the “hard questions” on them, so you catch them off guard. You want to make them think you’re just a friendly guy, and then spring them. Instead, Theroux talked for 45 seconds in a friendly manner and then was like “so why do you love Hitler so much, Nazi?”

Honestly, I don’t even understand how someone who has been making these hit piece films like this for twenty years or whatever could screw that one up so badly. There is no doubt he could have goaded Beardson into saying some stuff that looked bad, but he didn’t even try.

This is like if you go up to a woman at a coffee shop and chat her up for 45 seconds, compliment her, whatever, and then say “HOW ABOUT YOU SUCK MY DICK RIGHT NOW, SLUT?” (The difference is, there’s a nonzero chance the woman would be like “yeah, okay.” No person who knows you’re a hostile interviewer is going to keep going after you accuse them of being a Nazi.)

Anyway, by all appearances, the fact that Beardson told him to fuck off and told him to get off his property seemed to really upset Theroux, which meant that the rest of the documentary was about Beardson, primarily.

Beardson went on stream immediately after telling Theroux to leave, and then Theroux called him on the phone from his car and was like “I’m watching you.” What a weird thing to say? Beardson told him to fuck off again and hung up on him.

So then Theroux went to Brittany Venti’s house to hear about how Beardson had abused her. He played a tape to her of Beardson saying he was going to anally rape her. This was clearly bad optics, and the worst optics in the whole thing – but still kind of funny. I think it was the anal part that was the bad optics though. If it would have just been “I’m going to rape you,” then okay. Or even if it would have been “me and the boys are going to gang rape you” – still, better optics than anal.

For the record, Beardson has said he shouldn’t have said that. But I mean – if that’s the worst thing you can dig up about an entire movement – a bad joke on a livestream that allegedly hurt a woman’s feelings – you’re doing pretty bad in terms of your hit piece.

So then the other main character was Baked Alaska. He’s even the person featured on the promo material.

Baked came across as Baked, just kind of silly and irreverent. I don’t think it was bad optics, and in fact, it really sort of breaks the narrative of “this is the new rising KKK hate movement that wants to do a genocide.” You have to have really high levels of cognitive dissonance to say that Baked Alaska is a genocidal KKK Nazi planning to exterminate everyone.

Theroux sits and listens to an entire rap from Baked, and you can tell he’s trying not to laugh. I just don’t even understand what the point of including that was.
The rest of the article is the usual AF talking points, a combination of 'this is like iDubbbz and Sam Hyde,' and 'clearly Nick was right to do this, trust the plan!'

However, Anglin's account of the documentary seems a bit anxious. If Beardson is the 'star of the film,' then is that really a win for AF? However, Anglin seems to be saying 'a Nazi salute, being bitchy about it, and threatening to rape someone are slightly bad optics, but so what? That's nothing.' For most normies, that's not a great look.

I feel like most of this crowd have become blind to what bad optics are, which is mostly inevitable when your 'optical' leaders are Nick 'Me and my catboy secretary LARP as Hitler and Eva' Fuentes and Andrew Anglin. The documentary could have been done better, but AF's idea that they come across really well is a bit strange. The 'trust the plan' schtick here is strange, AF have spent a year making a public embarrassment of themselves and Theroux could have easily used that, AF is by no means a bulletproof movement.

Somehow 'it could have been worse' has turned into 'total Groyper victory' according to AF standards. I suppose that they don't want to admit that they're on a sinking ship, so they say it's half-afloat.

It's funny how much my views have changed in the last 5 years. I used to wonder if Trump people and right-wingers were racist. Now I'm reminding myself of the fact that there is such a thing as healthy racism.

How does one person represent a district that is 40% white, 30% hispanic, 15% black, 10% asian, and 5% mixed? Can a group of people with such a wide range of backgrounds, upbringings, and cultural, religious, linguistic differences come together and hammer out policy that benefits them all? No. They can't. It's not possible. All of those groups have different concerns, and many of those concerns are in direct opposition to each other.

But these demographics also had (and have) concerns that are not reflected in their political expectations, right? Considering that the Republican Party voter base is unified in large part by white identity if not specific politics, blacks, gays, and latinos are generalised as 'Democrats' or 'liberal', because they default to that label out of political expedience, so they get lumped in with pro-diversity, pro-LGBT, immigration positions even though blacks are more conservative about gays than whites and first generation latinos are territorial newer arrivals (that was a weird Teamspeak conversation). Point being, a lot of blame should go towards American liberals for advocating for a colourblind melting-pot, then for dropping the ladle without properly understanding cultural and political needs of the people who made up their tent, and respecting what united those camps instead of pandering to them and believing that not-racism was a win-all argument, a paradigm which basically allowed the Party to pick a candidate for the voters rather than the other way around. It feels like Republican politicans are ever wary of their own voters, as it should be, but Democrats grew accustomed to having diverse voters coming to non-representative candidates because they were the 'obvious' choice in a binary system - until Hillary Clinton wore out that goodwill with one Chipotle stop too many.

Maybe I've been cucked by all the propaganda you lot sent our way, but I'm still convinced America has a real chance at slowing the pendulum and being an acclimatised, diverse society of Americans with a shared history and diverse, distinct cultures. The problem is, of course, ancient Jews, Twitter checkmarks and university lecturers insisting to everyone that a black man in Harlem who's job qualification is 'The Streets' is going to share a worldview with Welydezior KiKi LeFay, disabled, thank you, post-op editor-at-large for NewEgg Magazine, because they are minorities, are oppressed and the heros of the film. This whole white-nativist movement has a compelling and reasonable case to make against the blind multiculturalist propaganda, but they're held in an impossible position by er, unfortunate history, unfavourable media baggage, a hyper-reactive society, a failure to distinguish between the linked but distinct concepts of white supremacy and white nationalism, a legacy of cynical, egotistical grifters and are currently best spoken for by a man who dehydrates when within ten feet of working ovaries.

Brittany is so fucking cute, is she still single? If so, why?

She's celibate, anti-porn, and Jewish.

I really like the part where Brittany is watching that dude saying that he's going to rape her like why was that guy making her watch that LMAO!

after sitting for awhile and think, i come to the realization that this doc was not meant for us that have all the knowledge and dark secrets of these characters. its for the average normalfag that believes everything the man in the big screen is saying. that's why they "scary music" was playing at parts to make them seem serious and dangerous.

i feel like an idiot for not realizing that sooner.

Not if it's in the context of having had a manlet who seems to come off worse than everyone and who Louie fucking Thoreoux said he could easily beat up joke about raping you. And it's not as if she hasn't already been filmed multiple times hanging around Baked Alaska.

Always in Louis debt for this. He has always had to put up with lolcows.
Tag yourself I'm the orange shirt girl.
