I think he is mad he cant get access to prostitutes or drugs since he looks like a a feeble old woman who escaped from the hospital.

It's like five hundred bucks. If ralph can't afford that without taking it the booze and myriad of drug fund mabtau must be in a constant state of financial stress at home and work, not a good environment for a baby might be stillborn at this rate

They probably let him reschedule the ticket he already had but the extra week's accomodations won't be cheap and that's not even starting with the medical bills.
