Stunbled on a profile on an app geared for moms

This one young mom has in her bio that she is non-binary because she “doesn’t feel feminine or masculine.” And she doesn’t identify as a woman and is therefore in the LGBT+ community.

She’s married to a man. She birthed her own child. She is literally on an app for MOMS. And the way she looks?

She has long, beautiful hair and wears normal, (feminine) women’s clothing. She looks literally like any other woman or young mom you’ll ever meet. No danger hair, no short boyish cut, no awkward men’s fashion. Literally, the most normal looking woman I have ever seen. Go to your local church and you’ll find at least five women that look just like her.

So what’s the deal? I read more on her bio - and literally three sentences in she says how she is trying to heal from childhood trauma.

So, there it is. She’s a traumatized woman who is trying to identify out of her sex - even though she looks like a woman, dresses as a stereotypical woman, and has recently given birth (ie IS a woman.)

I just hope she stays away from any gender therapist that tries affirming her into destroying herself. It’s fucking sick and depressing.

He basically did every plastic surgery aimed at men, and that still wasn't enough, so what better way of getting more plastic surgery than to say he's a woman.

Ok I am a big Pete fan, so if it sounds like cope, its probably cope, but I see him as more of a body modification addict. There was a period in the 00's when I think he created something that was actually beautiful, but stupid doctors and stupid nature got on the way. It killed him too.... I think part of it was that he was strikingly handsome and famous during the 70s and 80s. Lynne, his ex wife, said in a BBC4 documentary that he used to get bothered by the amount of attention he'd get from both gay men and women. He also got kidnapped and raped as a child. I think making himself into something else was a way of dealing with that... but it seems like he was always interested in playing with presentation and perhaps the nose job just set him off.

He died in 2016 but was presenting like a "trans woman" well before then. He was congruent with a time where he could have adopted that label, but he didn't - he absolutely rejected it. He ended up getting into a civil partnership with a bloke, Mike, and was specific that he was a man in a gay marriage even when he looked like this:

Basically while he undeniably had a plastic surgery addiction and was also dealing with a lot of trauma, I think Pete (and Boy George's!) 1980s Blitz Kids conception of gender was a lot healthier. You're not just a woman because you say you are, there's not some metaphysical truth, but fuck it we're all freaks! You want me to call you a lady and wear a dress and use the girl's bathroom in The Limelight? Sure! We're all doing drugs in there anyway!

It's not something that transposes to real life with jobs and offices, but these were nightlife people and they just didn't give a fuck what sort of brand of weirdo you were, they just knew they were all weirdos. That's a lot better than a troon demanding to be included in women's sports or women's prisons or women's hospital wards and insisting you're a raging bigot if you have a moment's hesitation to suck the girldick, and I actually don't think that subculture was a precursor to this culture either (which seemed to come from a different direction).

Honestly this feels like exactly the reason even LGBT people don't take FTMs all that seriously. I haven't met a single one that didn't have some personal story suggesting they just don't want to live with the vulnerability of being a woman (or in some cases wanting to be "the guy" in a lesbian relationship) but you never see them "performing manhood" as much as MTFs "perform womanhood" or whatever. Most of r/ftm is just them talking about how they want to be taken seriously where r/mtf you find quotes like "I can't decide between twink slut, "mom" you can always rely on, or a somewhat wholesome e-girl" quite regularly.

Also, this was in a time where multiple cosmetic surgeries weren't even around. But, also remember that until the 80s and the explosion of porn, this was a time period where it was extremely frowned upon to wear anything like fetish wear, slutty outfits, and the like in public. I'm certain some of these trannies were AGP, but due to the fashion and social climate of the time, had to make due to wearing what was deemed appropriate female attire in public at that time. If they were around in today's climate, no doubt that they would be dressing like the troons we feature on this thread.

One thing that seems to combine a lot of the historical trannies is that they're casually aware that women are leaner and slimmer than the average man, so they do a SHITload of excercise. Not just the ana trannies that have no form or figure, but it goes a long way towards TRYING to pass instead of being a gross fucking potato.

You’re right, it shows how degenerate society has become since then. At least back then the perverts really had to be dedicated to the craft. Nowadays I think a huge percent of these men get off on the fact that they look like gross fucking potatoes and everyone around them, especially the women, have to acknowledge them as true and honest women lest they be banished and cancelled. It’s more socially acceptable because trans women don’t owe you femininity, bigots!

Oh, and there was this beautiful bit of good news: another seahorse dad won the right in the Netherlands to have a gender neutral passport/government ID, thanks to the will of a troon politician.

I'm sure we have all heard a bunch of young guys having this exact conversation back before troons existed. Hilarious how troons continue to out themselves despite shrieking that they're totally no different from whatever gender they're pretending to be.

Also goes to show how dumb these guys really are when it comes to women and the concept of being slutty. Lots of guys, especially the young and incel types, always gush about how they'd totally be a slut if THEY had been born a girl, yet none of them seem to be able to connect the dots on why being slutty is looked down upon and why most girls don't go down that route: "Gee, I wonder why most girls aren't slutty, I totally would be!!"

For one thing, there's the whole social mores that heavily socialize women from a young age that being slutty is bad. I'm sure we all remember 'that girl' in high school, the one girl that was known as being a slut, and it wasn't a seen as a good thing. But even if being slutty wasn't socially frowned upon, most girls aren't going to go down the slutty route because it's unsafe. Not just the fear of pregnancy and STDs, but also the fact that men are stronger and you don't know if the random man you're sleeping with a mentally sound guy or the next Buffalo Bill. Some guys really can't understand this fear and it shows.

As for being a "lesbian slut", they're double stupid for wondering why it doesn't exist. It doesn't exist because lesbians, REAL LESBIANS, are still women and still socialized to not behave in a 'slutty' way. The other reason is that being an actual lesbian (and not some tumblr snowflake) is rare, so even if you were a 100% slutty lesbian, it's not like you're gonna find another slutty lesbian easily, especially not while you're still a teenager and still in school. You might be the literal only lesbian in your entire school. And no, life is not like a porno or hentai, you can't just go up to some straight girl and start making out with her and somehow turn her gay.

That said, lesbian hook up culture exists and from what my lesbian friends have told me, plenty of lesbians (especially during college age) have no problem hooking up and having one night stands with other lesbians or bi/bi-curious ladies. It's fucking hilarious to read these troons vent about how they can't be a slutty lesbian due to the fact that lesbians only value romance and deep connections No, it's because lesbians want to sleep with other lesbians, not men in bad makeup and a Party City wig.
