All it took was me snorting and going "come on!" instead of "oh yes, I'm sure, very painful, dysphoria, etc. etc." and my friend unloaded for at least a couple of unbroken minutes about how it was ridiculous for them to be expected to go quiet in their own space. She was absolutely waiting for that chance and I don't think she even knew it before that moment.

This is most people in private, especially women. Even among those that consider themselves "woke" terms like "pregnant person" and "cervix havers" get eye rolls.
