Not trying to get your hopes up but the probability of him stabbing another druggie is super high. Those types aren't also known for their "Send other retarded druggies to jail"-money, however I could be completely wrong.
For all we know Shad could have stabbed a nun holding a baby.
 
If Shad owes people money or the guy who he assaulted has people who fight back for the guy, prison might be a safer place than home.

From what I've seen of Shadman, he's too proud to admit that he's a failure, a loser and a worthless piece of shit. Making a gofundme would be an admission of desperation and helplessness; keep in mind he's still maintaining a bravado of "I'm still a badass edgy-lord and I'm better than all of you haters" on Twitter. It's one thing for him to say "hey, look at all the super cool t-shirts you can buy!" or "go check out my art on my webpage (and get me those ad-rev clicks)" but to come out and say "hey I need help, I'm broke and I'm desperate. Here's my gofundme, please donate" would require him swallowing his pride first and he'd need a fucking lake to pull that off.

I believe Corey's last post on Shadbase was a year later in 2016, so right around or before Shad and Mick moved to Cali.

Also, JLullaby drew worse things than Shadman to the point of Shad's fans thinking that what they were doing was too far. JLullaby was literally a double edged sword when browsing Shadbase, because one day you'll a decent pinup of a mom and the next day you'll get excessively detailed porn that makes you feel you need multiple showers and would probably put you on a watchlist. The only reason JLullaby vanished from the internet and Shad didn't (except when he wanted to relearn some things and took that freelancer job) was because they had something to fall back on (school according to Shad the last time they talked), where as Shad has outright stated art was all he had.
