I might be wrong and he has went after the woman you mentioned, but it was Marion Miller that Paisley got arrested and charged. ACAB until you need to waste the time of the police because a ribbon is trying to murder you and you need to flee Scotland which is just like Afghanistan now. Particularly with a backlog of cases because of COVID-19.

*again I find that people tend to get caught up in TRA vs. TERF and cannot see how this was in no way in the public interest. You don't have to be on any side to realize it was a waste of money and resources.

I guess part of it is also that if no one complains, then the laws can't be applied. If these freaks were met with public outrage and phone calls to the police every time, it would likely be different. But instead way too many people nowadays subscribe to the "kink shaming is wrong" mantra.

This wasn't some harry potter fans taking photos, it wasn't kiwifarms aggregating public information in a thread on the person with a rule about not pozloading my neghole, it was a direct attempt at intimidation and harassment.

Frankly I hope she starts using some of those HP bucks to start being litigant. All these incidents have to have peaked her and she's a billionaire with a property that's still bringing in massive cash flow for her. Eventually some of these troons will hit the 'gone to far' point and she's either going to start her own anti-trans organization or silencing them through legal means.

I think it's likely she lurks here. Entertainment aside, KF is a goldmine of information. I'm convinced she used to lurk at r/GC after her research for her Cormoran Strike books peaked her, and when GC was nuked many users (myself included) started lurking and eventually opened an account in KF. Right. Her point wasn't that she was afraid, she isn't. She's got big fences and tons of security. But what if psychotic troons showed up at your house? Or your mom's? Or your granny's?

She is speaking out before the troons do show up at your mom's house and dox her and the death threats start rolling in. Because Rowling has the fuck you money to take care of herself, while your mom (a generic you, obviously) probably doesn't.

I don't think it's going to do any good. The ones who need to stop the doxxing and the death threats will do it regardless, but it's the principle of the matter, which does count for something. If nothing else it's moral support so when the troons and the death threats show up at granny's house you and granny can look at Rowling and see that granny's not alone.
