This is true. At the start of WWII, America was fairly weak & under powered. Not even close to the top armies in the World in arms, manpower or equipment.
Japan could have legit won (or at least until the A-bomb was invented), if a few chance naval battles went their way. They could have completely secured all of south east Asia.

After Pearl Harbor though, the U.S. kicked it into overdrive & in a few years overshadowed everyone.

In keeping with not letting a tragedy or crisis going to waste without shamelessly trying to advance a political agenda, it is critical we as a society address the horror of car violence. Every year, more then 60,000 Americans are killed and countless more injured by Vehicles. Many times more then are killed by even AR-15s! Our courts and hospitals are overrun with the victims of these murder machines. We need common sense car control now.
