Why are there videos of the car intentionally driving around people when there's space to do so, and then finally driving through people when they hit a formation that takes up the whole road?

Yeah that's why it doesn't seem like a truck of peace situation, you can see even in the video where he goes through them that he's "trying" to go around at first. Maybe he thought he was being chased by a pack of wolves.
