Now's a better time than ever for that directed verdict. I don't think a sentient jury could convict Kyle at this point but I'd also rather not risk them deciding antifa scare them so much they'll go ahead and railroad him anyway.

No need to swallow the black pill just yet. He might just be confident Kyle is getting off and wants the jury to give the verdict. If it's dismissed (((they))) can cry foul of a corrupt judge. If the jury let's him off then there's nothing anyone can do to Kyle that he hasn't already stopped 3 times.

AND he can always do a "judgment notwithstanding the verdict" and make Kyle not guilty after. Avoids optical problems UNLESS the jury is fucked. Don't know if he will, because he'd be martyring himself, but it's a possibility.
