I always assumed it was just expense.
A good weave/lace front wig costs $$$ and time. I think it just goes to further show that they see women as a costume that they can put on and take off at will.

Might also have something to do with head size? I’m not a wig expert here, but I imagine that most non-custom wigs for women come small enough for a woman’s head, and, as we have often seen, dudes have big heads.
They might be searching for wigs that look feminine but are big enough for their head. Then you only have the cheapest of silly Halloween wigs or custom wigs that drag queens and dedicated cross dressers would use. So again, $$$$

Why take the time to grow your hair, or the $$ and effort to get a weave/custom wig when you can slap in a costume that can come off the moment you are uncomfortable.

The crappy wigs are so funny, I almost don't want to comment on it and accidentally give them advice. But quickweaves with leave-outs, even if the leave out is shorter than the weft (it often is) would be such an easy and inexpensive option for these stupid males. Even if the hair is too short, there's always lace closures. Short human hair or human hair blends are affordable and they can look natural enough if you put the effort in and take care of it.

If it has to be a wig, they can make a wig with beauty supply hair and glue or sew it to a cap. They make caps for big heads, but they're often made out of material like panty-hose so it's very stretchy. It's basically a quickweave that's not glued to the head.

There's hundreds to thousands of tutorials online that detail everything you'd need to know. It's really a google search away. Do I have bald AFAB privilege or something? But they know so little about anything. I think party city wigs or kanekalon cosplay wigs are the only wigs they're familiar with.

I very rarely see them in short, easy to maintain wigs for daily wear. It's always these super long, frayed, tortured plastic ones. Although I can make the same complaint about some women. Human hair is worth the price if you're not trying to advertise the fact that you're wearing something. It doesn't even have to be that expensive. Like I said, beauty supply hair is around $9 a pack for the shorter lengths. And FUCKING style it.

Speaking as a gay male, these "gay" FtMs are just plain annoying and delusional. They could easily get straight or bi men, but they decide to go barking up the wrong tree for some odd reason.

No, the only thing missing isn't simply a penis, you loon. It's not even the main the issue here. FtMs don't have the same facial structure or bone structure as males do, they don't have the same chests, they don't have the same weight distribution, their voices are different, they don't come off the same as actual males, etc.

Quit trying to guilt trip us into dating women. We're not emotionally, romantically, physically or sexually attracted to women.
